  2.                                 heavyweight boxing 
  3.                                 championship at the age 
  4.                                 of 45, becoming the 
  5.                                 oldest man ever to wear 
  6. the championship belt. It was the second time 
  7. George had won the heavyweight title; the 
  8. first time was 21 years earlier!

  10. GeorgeΓÇÖs professional boxing career spans 
  11. four decades. He was the heavyweight gold 
  12. medalist at the 1968 Olympics. In 1973, he 
  13. won the heavyweight title from Joe Frazier by 
  14. knocking out the defending champion in the 
  15. second round!

  17. October 30, 1974 was a turning point in 
  18. GeorgeΓÇÖs life. He met Muhammad Ali 
  19. in a title fight in Zaire, Africa. In the
  20.                                 ΓÇ£Rumble in the Jungle,ΓÇ¥ 
  21.                                 as the fight was called, 
  22.                                 Muhammad knocked 
  23.                                 George out in the eighth 
  24.                                 round.

  26. George left boxing in 1977 to become a 
  27. Christian minister back home in Texas. In 
  28. 1987, however, he decided to make a boxing 
  29. comeback. People laughed at him. He was 38 
  30. and had put on weight. But his punches were 
  31. just as heavy as always, and after 24 fights, 
  32. he was unbeaten.

  34. On April 19, 1991, George, then 42, lost to 
  35. champion Evander Holyfield. But he won the 
  36. hearts of many Americans. He endorsed 
  37. products and got his own TV comedy 
  38. show.But what George really wanted 
  39.                                 was another shot at the 
  40.                                 heavyweight title. In 
  41.                                 November 1994, George 
  42.                                 got his chance. He made 
  43.                                 the most of it. He 
  44. knocked out champion Michael Moorer in the 
  45. 10th round to become champion again!
